Gabrielle Demers joined the Beaudry Bertrand team as a lawyer in 2023. SHE PRACTICES AS PART OF THE FAMILY LAW AND INTERNATIONAL CHILD ABDUCTION TEAM UNDER THE HAGUE CONVENTION.

However, she initially joined the Beaudry Bertrand team in 2011 as a legal assistant in the family law team. After returning to school, she rejoined the team in January 2023 to complete her internship.

TRAINING

Me Gabrielle Demers holds a law degree (LL.L) from the University of Ottawa, graduating with honours, Magna Cum Laude, in 2022, where she was appeared on the Dean's Honour List of the Faculty of Civil Law for the entirety of her studies, in recognition of her excellent academic results. During her time at the University of Ottawa, she became involved in student life, serving on several committees. She was also a mentor to 1st-year students in her 3rd year, an involvement that was very close to her heart.

Me Gabrielle Demers was admitted to the Quebec Bar in July 2023, having successfully completed the professional internship program with l’École du Barreau.

She also has an extensive background in the legal field, having worked in notary and law firms for over 12 years. She also worked as a magistrate's clerk for 1 year.

FAMILY LAW

Ms. Bouchard practises in family law and appears on a regular basis before the Superior Court in Family Court, more precisely regarding:

  • Custody;
  • Support (children and spousal);
  • Divorces (family patrimony and matrimonial regime);
  • Separation from bed and board;
INVOLVEMENT

Gabrielle Demers has been involved with her colleagues by being on the board of directors of the Association du Jeune Barreau de l'Outaouais since 2024.

Always happy to get involved in the community, especially when it benefits children, she took part in the 24H Tremblant for the first time in December 2023, and plans to continue to do so every year.
